Describe the whole composition.
A useful DALL·E 3 brief tells one visual story: an orange beverage can as the hero, a peach backdrop, translucent water around the subject and enough empty space for copy. Put the essentials ahead of decorative details so you can judge whether the composition serves your campaign.
This is a text-led route. The gateway’s shared OpenAI edit handling is not evidence that DALL·E 3 accepts a product upload or mask. If your job depends on preserving an existing package, choose and verify an image-edit route rather than relying on a written description to recreate it exactly.

Can DALL·E 3 edit my uploaded product photo?
Do not assume so. Its presence in the OpenAI model registry does not establish DALL·E 3 edit support; this page describes text-led generation.
How should I choose the image settings?
Use the supported size and other options shown for the enabled DALL·E 3 route, then review the quote. The common adapter does not enforce a separate per-model list.
